Yes, I've dedicated myself twice pledging to study until I believed I was ready to bear the weight of being a full-fledged neopagan. In fact, my first self dedication was directly from Silver's book. It's a beautiful ritual but I'm not the biggest fan of Ravenwolf. Sometimes she doesn't have all of her facts together. Also, she often uses angels which I disagree with, no offense to anyone out there. But I did start off learning from Ravenwolf and I do love the ritual she created for self dedication.
